What is the Tote?
The Tote is a short for the Horserace Totalisator Board. Tote betting is available at every racecourse. All the money wager on horses in a race goes into a 'pot' or 'pool' . And following the race, this pool is shared out among all those who have placed winning bets.

What is a handicap race?
Handicap races are races with weights allocated to horses according to their previous results and number of successful races. There is a scale of handicap races. Each one has different restrictions or conditions that determine which horses are eligible for participation:

Class C Handicap: the lowest level handicap race (where horses may be eligible even though they have won relatively few races).
Class A Handicap : the highest level handicap race (where horses are only eligible if they have won a number of races)

Vitamins improve my horse?All vitamins stimulate the fitness level, expect an average increase of

7%. Vitamins don´t add talent they just make horses fitter.

How do I bet on more than one race?

You can have a Double when you have a bet on two different races, win or each way. The winnings from the first race are placed on the second race. Trebles are bets on three races and bets on four or more races are Accumulators.
